I think it was really interesting, particularly so, because I am interested in starting my own credit bureau to compete directly with TRW/Experian. I would like to store the credit records for most of the 50 states (except maybe New Jersey). Then I'll charge banks and people like that to access the records. I was thinking maybe 25 cents a pop. I don't have much in the way of resources. Well, I've got this PC, and a pretty large hard disk (500 megs). Do you think that's enough hard disk space to store all the records? I sure hope so. Could you help me figure out how to get the banks and stuff to send me that information? Also, do you know anything about database software? Would I need to use database software? Or maybe I could just put this stuff all in a spreadsheet? Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Looking forward to your response.
