        STORY OF THE TINY LOBSTER

The tiny lobster is the world's smallest
recognizable avatar, as registered by the
Guiness Book of World Records, 1998, page
123.

It consists of 4 pixels, which are bright
red, arranged in a "Y" configuration.

Try to imagine one now.

The tiny lobster is an excellent example of
the *idea* of an avatar being significantly
more important than it's rendering quality.
A fact which is sometimes lost on the crea-
tors of more highly detailed and expensive
lobsters.

Actual tiny lobsters often live in caves,
and don't come out very often, except to
shamelessly promote their products.

It is illegal to ensnare tiny lobsters, and
they are largely inedible, anyway.
